In July SEEBURGER presents its new major release BIS 6.7.
In December, the ground-breaking ceremony is held for an extension to the Bretten headquarters for up to 160 new employees.

30 years working for UN/EDIFACT –
SEEBURGER AG receives award from the UN (United Nations)

With the new BIS IoT solution, our customers can now also implement integration scenarios for the Internet of Things.

2015

Two thirds of SEEBURGER's supervisory board members are women.
SEEBURGER’s continued growth leads to expansion in North America with two new offices in New York and Phoenix/Scottsdale, expanding the presence of the global business integration and secure file transfer (MFT) provider in the North American market.

2014

SEEBURGER Cloud Services receive the BITMi seal of approval, a highly regarded professional organization focusing on IT software for "Software hosted in Germany", recognizing SEEBURGER's Cloud Services use ISO27001 certified Germany-based data centers that adhere to Germany’s well-known data security laws covered by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), which are observed and documented in customer contracts.

2013

SEEBURGER firmly establishes itself in the Financial Services sector with the Business Integration Suite for FSI.

2012

Gartner names us a "visionary" in 2012.
Computerwoche awards SEEBURGER's WiM Cloud for Utilities with the "Best Business Idea 2012".

2011

SEEBURGER celebrates 25 years of Integrating Best-Run Businesses with thousands of satisfied customers from medium-sized companies to global corporations, worldwide.

2010

SEEBURGER expands its strategic product roadmap with the Business Integration Suite, a comprehensive next-generation platform for integrating business partners – from simple data exchange through EDI/B2B and MFT solutions to integrated processes and monitoring in SAP.
Prominent analysts confirm SEEBURGER's industry-leading position: independent market research company Forrester describes SEEBURGER as a leading provider of comprehensive integration solutions in its report on the CIS category, and the company is classified as "Visionary" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for systematic application integration projects.
SEEBURGER continues its program of international expansion, opening a subsidiary in Belgium and representative offices in Moscow, the Czech Republic and Turkey.

2008

Once again, Gartner confirms the importance of the Business Integration Server, placing SEEBURGER in the "Leaders" quadrant for B2B Gateway service providers.

  • The total number of SAP-certified SEEBURGER adapters rises to 28: 14 EDI adapters are awarded certification for use with SAP NetWeaver PI, while a further 14 for use with SAP NetWeaver XI have their certification renewed.
 

2007

SEEBURGER and BOSCH win AKJ Automotive‘s elog@istics Award 2007 for the world’s first small load carrier RFID project.
In the China Awards 2007, the award for Best Supply Chain IT Solution goes to the just-in-time/just-in-sequence solution at Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Ltd. (BBDC) – confirmation of the company’s striking success in the emerging Asian market.

2006

SEEBURGER further improves and expands its SCM/RFID and PDM/PLM offering.
For the first time, SEEBURGER appears as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant report for B2B gateway service providers.

2005

SEEBURGER acquires document automation company Freeformation, enhancing its offering in the areas of gateways and process management.

2004

SEEBURGER expands its portfolio with managed services including outsourcing and hosting.

2003

Further expansion of the strategic partnership with SAP.

2001

SEEBURGER successfully positions itself as a solution provider for business-to-business integration, and is soon firmly established in this market.

1999

SEEBURGER becomes European market leader in the area of electronic data interchange (EDI/EDIFACT).
The company becomes a publicly traded corporation, SEEBURGER AG.

1997

With its eye fixed firmly on the global market, SEEBURGER embarks on a program of international expansion so it can serve customers worldwide.

1996

At ESIP '96, the European Software Innovation award goes to SEEBURGER for its product EDWIN.

1995

SEEBURGER becomes the first company in the world to achieve certification for SAP R/3 Rel. 3.x. (and in 1998 for SAP R/3 Rel. 4.x.).

1993

SEEBURGER expands its EDI software to cover other industries.

1986

SEEBURGER makes an immediate impact in the software industry with the launch of its MS-DOS/PC-based EDI solution for the automotive industry, which will ultimately prove the most successful of its kind.

Bernd Seeburger established the software company "SEEBURGER-Unternehmensberatung".
