The new SAP S/4HANA is the foundation for the next generation SAP ecosystem. Existing and future systems, business partners and various technologies must be integrated with SAP S/4HANA. As a close partner of SAP, SEEBURGER supports the integration with SAP S/4HANA in various ways and thus helps our mutual customers in protecting their investment.
With the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS), companies of all industries and sizes benefit from a central, technology leading platform developed in-house by SEEBURGER. It offers customers maximum flexibility for integration using B2B/EDI, MFT, E-Invoicing, IoT, API and EAI applications in all SAP environments, including deep SAP S/4HANA integration.
SEEBURGER enables integration with SAP satellite systems (e.g. SAP Ariba or SAP Success Factors), internal non-SAP systems as well as all external connections on a single platform.
Benefit from the comprehensive possibilities of the BIS6 integration platform, regardless of which operating model you choose for S/4HANA.
BIS6 supports all interfaces provided by S/4HANA. If S/4HANA is operated in-house or as a so-called private cloud, the integration can still take place in the usual IDoc format via tRFC.
If the S/4HANA environment is provided in the SAP public cloud, the connection is made via the SAP HANA Cloud Platform Integration. This is also an available option for all other S/4HANA users.

With SAP S/4HANA, familiar IDoc structures are still available. API-based interfaces can also be used. The SAP API Business Hub provides the APIs for use within SAP S/4HANA environments that can be utilized by the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS). We are happy to assist you.
Compared to SAP IDocs, the connection to integration platforms via the APIs of the SAP API Business Hub means technical as well as organizational changes. The move from SAP IDocs to APIs and thus from asynchronous calls to synchronous service requests means that any errors are handled by the API Service Consumer - and thus outside the SAP ERP system as before. For the departments involved, the corresponding tool for the manual error handling changes.
SEEBURGER supports all API interfaces for SAP S/4HANA and the associated error handling.
External partners can still be connected to SAP S/4HANA via an EDI solution utilizing IDocs. Existing connections can alternatively be converted to APIs.
SEEBURGER 's BIS platform enables the seamless integration of internal and external business partners via classic B2B/EDI or managed file transfer channels as well as via the SAP API Business Hub using new SAP APIs.
