SPIE Consolidates its Branches B2B Processes with SEEBURGER

SPIE is comprised of several branches that are quite independent and have historically been reluctant to implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) into their existing B2B partnerships. It was important for SPIE to improve the efficiency of the group with an EDI solution that could be easily adopted across all six branches and will enable them to standardize their purchasing and invoicing flows. The desired EDI platform also needed to be flexible in order to be able to implement new B2B processes and to integrate new B2B partners. The SEEBURGER solution was selected because it is very easy to configure all the required mappings and business processes through a simple and intuitive graphical interface. In addition to this they are able to achieve 100% monitoring and are able to control all workflows with the help of a light client.

With the capability to handle 800.000 daily transactions, the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite is powerful enough to transport all of the required messages that the SPIE group handles on a day-to-day basis. The SPIE project was implemented on schedule in a matter of weeks thanks to the proven SEEBURGER methodology backed by an experienced local support team.
