Greiner Meets Global Compliance Mandates and Prepares for the Future with SEEBURGER

SEEBURGER Cloud Integration Services for EDI &
E-Invoicing

As a global medical technology company, Greiner Bio-One is required to comply with a large number of country-specific e-invoicing standards. Compliance is further complicated by frequent specification changes with short implementation periods, difficult deadlines and risk of sanctions, as well as multiple required language skills.
Using SEEBURGER E-Invoicing Cloud Services, the company is able to meet all requirements on time and cost-effectively, and is ensured worry-free compliance with e-invoicing standards.

Competence and multiple solutions for all country-specific needs

Greiner Bio-One has been using the SEEBURGER B2B/EDI solution for global data exchange with over 500 active partners, including customers and suppliers, since 2003. In 2015, the company migrated from in-house operation to SEEBURGER EDI Cloud Services. It now also uses SEEBURGER E-Invoicing Cloud Services for a wide range of requirements, such as:

International compliance and transparency in SAP with SEEBURGER

  • International compliance: With the SEEBURGER E-Invoicing Cloud Services, Greiner Bio-One consistently implements country-specific requirements in an up-to-date and timely manner. SEEBURGER's out-of-the-box solutions include conversion to target formats, signing of data, secure transmission via protocols mandated by country authorities, and forwarding to long-term archives.

  • Transparency in SAP: The SEEBURGER Console provides an overview of all feedback from state authorities. For example, the Hungarian authority reports back after validation whether an invoice has met the requirements. The transparency of tax statements and status responses allows errors to be identified and corrected immediately. This prevents penalties that may be incurred if an invoice is submitted late. For this purpose, Greiner Bio-One receives:
    • Status feedback directly to the SEEBURGER Console in SAP
    • Detailed status details via e-mail

  • In addition, with the flexibility of SEEBURGER E-Invoicing Cloud Services, the company is prepared for future requirements, such as:
    • France: B2B e-invoicing with the hybrid format Factur-X
    • India: B2B and B2G e-invoicing with GSTN invoice clearance
    • Hungary: B2B e-invoicing via the Számla online system
